cali & no camera

This past weekend Scott & i took a quick little trip down to Southern California for his cousins wedding. It was one of those weekends that was perfect. The weather was beautiful, we visited a temple we had never been to, & saw family we don't see regularly.

Us with the Bride (Katelynn) & groom (Eric). They are a super cute couple. They were both so excited & truly happy as they were sealed together. I love sealings. We are excited to have her as a part of the fam. If I would have had my camera, I would have taken pics of their reception. It was beautiful. My favorite part was all the different sized mason jars filled with candies on the table. And lights in mason jars hanging from the trees.

2 of the cousins we don't get to see enough. Julia & Richard. We even had a little dance party at the reception with everyone. Super fun.

It was great to spend the weekend with my hubby. The kids were home safe & sound with their aunt & favorite babysitter Taylor :)

I love this quote. I found it on pinterest (which can consume waaaay too much time if you aren't careful) but I loved it. Sometimes I get consumed with having the dishes all done, the beds made, & the laundry going. This helps me remember that I won't have these little ones home with me forever. The dishes can totally wait.

My camera is on the fritz so these are all some iphone pics. Here is my beefy little guy AFTER i took away his 3rd pumpkin chocolate chip cookie. He was so not happy with me. "Give me back my dang cookie!"

And how do I get great hair like you? You make it look easy.
