lots to blog

We've been busy just trying to soak in all that is left of summer which really isn't much. I've already got my apple spice candle burning & pumpkin recipes that I want to try all ready to go.
We camped - in a real tent - over labor day. So fun. I have lots to post.

But I first had to post about this little one cause she's been sick lately with fevers & what not so I've been worried about her. She's fine, just got a little bug.

I asked Scott tonight if he ever just listens to her talk. She talks a lot. She is our most shy child but she talks non stop with us. She is very articulate for a 4 year old. It's kind of a crack up. When I'm in the car & I stop worrying about what I need to get done or how I'm late for this place, I just listen to her talk & it's so hilarious. She has a really high kind of voice (don't ask who she gets that from) & she will sing & tell stories the whole time. The other day she was telling me how she was the "star studio" in class. I didn't understand until I read the note that she was the "star student" for being good & participating. But she is constantly telling me about her "star studio" moment.

She's for sure a feather weight. I was laughing & telling some friends a while back how her swimsuit she was wearing was a 2t. Well I looked, thinking maybe i was wrong & it was a 3. I was wrong but it was an 18 month. (She had a ton of crack showing!)

She hates jeans & only wants stretch pants.

She loves her brothers more than anything but can antagonize with the best of them.

She still thinks her hair will turn brown if we cut it.

She colors non stop. And paints. And practices her letters. She loves that kind of stuff.

She woke up yesterday insistent that she goes on a date with dad. I melted & so did he.

I watched 'Tangled' for the first time last week, so the comment you made about cutting Tessa's hair made me laugh. :)
