labor day camping

I've never been much of a tent camper. In fact Scott asked me if I had been camping before & I told him "well duh, we went on a ton of Grisswald trips in the motorhome growing up." He laughed & then proceeded to tell me why that was NOT camping. I argued that sometimes we had to shower in the public campground showers so for me that was camping! He didn't buy it. So lately he has been spending a lot of time at Cabella's. He's had a bunch of scout camp outs & him & Chase went to fathers & sons & loved it so we decided we needed to take the whole fam. I had survived girls camp so I was pretty much up for anything!

It ended up being so much fun. My kids were out of their mind excited & we had the best time just letting them run around & play with their friends. They did awesome.

We even took this guy. He loved it!

Some of the kiddos enjoying their hot chocolate in the back of the truck. I think I counted like 26 kids at one point!

It was great, we definitely will go again. We want to go one more time before it gets too cold, maybe down south somewhere.
