This one had his first day of kindergarten today! He is getting so old. He had picked out his shirt the night before & was dressed at 7:15 a.m. When he went in for his assessment he told the teacher he already had learned all this "stuff" so he didn't have to do it. Oh dear!!
I decided to start a little tradition. When he got home, there was a big cookie that said "1st day of K!" He loved it. I'm so glad I did it.
He said everything went great but that they didn't go on a field trip & that was kind of a bummer. (didn't know he was expecting that the first day.)
He also said he sat still (something we talked to him about beforehand) but the teacher wouldn't call on him & he just had one more question to ask her. This made me laugh. Knowing my child, he had probably asked 14 million questions by this time.
She had her first day back to preschool last week. My favorite thing is picking her up & listening to her talk about what they did that day.
He had his first krispie Kreme! I don't think there needs to be an explanation on how much he loved it.
My younger sister Meisha had her little boy Saturday! His name is Mack, he weighed 6 pds. 15 ounces & is absolutely perfect. It is her first boy. His big sister is Ellie. We can't wait to go down & meet him. And yes, she looks that good after JUST having a baby. Not fair.
