Where have we been? Paradise :) !

We have had this maui trip planned for almost a year & it totally lived up to all our anticipation. I have been counting down the weeks since July. It was one of the most relaxing vacations....even with 2 little kiddo's. We pretty much woke up, walked along the beach, spent the day at the pool or in the sand, & ate great food. My kind of vacation.

Chase started to swim on his own the last couple of days we were there. He pretty much thought he was Micheal Phelps. He usually wears this speedo type swimsuit with a floatation device inside (my fam calls it the nipple suit. don't ask.) I knew he was close to swimming on his own though. So sure enough, we took it off & he can totally swim with his face down towards us. He struggles after he takes a breath to get going again. Next summer for sure.

The kids went on a couple of treasure hunts while we were there. very cool.

This little one could have stayed in the water all day. She just played & played on the steps for hours. She would swim with some barbie dolls or push her floatie back & forth. She was a totally different child for us this year compared to last October when we were there.

Chase was like "Hey mom, take a picture of me like this on the chair!" He loved it! He is so tan right now. So is Tessa......ha, ha just a joke :)
